that thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: “How hath the oppressor ceased! The golden city ceased!
that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
that you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased [his insolence], And how the fury has ceased!
You shall take up this [taunting] parable against the king of Babylon and say, How the oppressor has stilled [the restless insolence]! The golden and exacting city has ceased!
¶ That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
you will sing this song of contempt about the king of Babylon and say: How the oppressor has quieted down, and how the raging has become quiet!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How the flood has receded!
you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Bavel: “At last the oppressor is stilled, his arrogance is ended!
Then you will make fun of the King of Babylonia by singing this song: That cruel monster is done for! He won't attack us again.
that thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased,—the exactress of gold ceased!
Thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and shalt say: How is the oppressor come to nothing, the tribute hath ceased?
At that time you will begin to sing this song about the king of Babylon: The king was cruel when he ruled us, but now his rule is finished.
Then you will laugh at the king of Babylon. You will say to him, ‘Now you cannot be cruel to us any more! Your power to cause trouble has finished!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: “How the oppressor has ceased! How his fury has ended!”
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: “How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: “How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased!
On that day ·Israel [L you] will sing this ·song about [or taunt against] the king of Babylon: The ·cruel king who ruled us [L oppressor] is finished; his ·angry rule [arrogant fury; hostility] is finished!
Then shalt thou take up this proverb against the King of Babel, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased? and the gold thirsty Babel rested?
Then you will mock the king of Babylon with this saying, “How the tyrant has come to an end! How his attacks have come to an end!”
When he does this, they are to mock the king of Babylon and say: “The cruel king has fallen! He will never oppress anyone again!
you will sing this song of contempt about the king of Babylon and say: How the oppressor has quieted down, and how the raging has become quiet!
On that day Israel will sing this song about the king of Babylon: The cruel king who ruled us is finished. His rule is finished!
you will lift up this song of mockery against the king of Babylon: “How the oppressor has come to an end! How the attacker has ceased!
¶ that thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon and say, How has the oppressor ceased! The city that covets gold has ceased!
That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
that thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
that you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the taskmaster has ceased, And how fury has ceased!
that you will take this taunt against the king of Babylon, and you will say: “How the oppressor has ceased! his insolence has ceased.
you will jeer at the king of Babylon and say, “You bully, you! At last you have what was coming to you!
When God has given you time to recover from the abuse and trouble and harsh servitude that you had to endure, you can amuse yourselves by taking up this satire, a taunt against the king of Babylon: Can you believe it? The tyrant is gone! The tyranny is over! God has broken the rule of the wicked, the power of the bully-rulers That crushed many people. A relentless rain of cruel outrage Established a violent rule of anger rife with torture and persecution.
you shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: How has the oppressor ceased! The golden city ceased!
Then you will mock the king of Babylon with this saying, “How the tyrant has come to an end! How his attacks have come to an end!”
you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! how the turmoil has ended!
that you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased, And how the onslaught has ceased!
that you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased, And how fury has ceased!
you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon: Behold how the oppressor has come to an end! Behold how his arrogance has ceased!
On that day Israel will sing this song about the king of Babylon: The cruel king who ruled us is finished; his angry rule is finished!
you will taunt the king of Babylon with these words: “Look how the oppressor has met his end! Hostility has ceased!
they will make fun of the king of Babylon. They will say, “See how the one who crushed others has fallen! See how his anger has come to an end!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended!
that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: “How the oppressor has ceased, The golden city ceased!
you will speak against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the one who made it hard for us has been stopped! How his anger has been stopped!
you will taunt the king of Babylon. You will say, “The mighty man has been destroyed. Yes, your insolence is ended.
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How his insolence has ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How his insolence has ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How his insolence has ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has ceased! How his insolence has ceased!
That thou shalt take up this mashal against Melech Bavel, and say, How hath the nogesh (oppressor) ceased! How hast fury ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: “How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon: “How the oppressor has ceased, the insolent fury ceased!
you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon and say: “How the taskmaster has ceased! The raging oppressor, exacter of gold, has ceased!
And then you will take up this chant against the fallen king of Babylon: People: How silent and still the oppressor; the pressure is gone; the raging is done!
that you will take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased! The golden city has ceased!”
thou shalt take this parable against the king of Babylon, and thou shalt say, How ceased the wrongful asker, rested [the] tribute? (thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and thou shalt say, How the oppressor hath fallen! the tribute is now ceased!/How the mighty have fallen! the oppression, or the servitude, is now ended!)
